Rotary Club Seeks Award Nominees

Bill Reid Award recognizes those who have made long-term contributions to Buffalo Grove.

The is seeking nominations for its 2011 Bill Reid Buffalo Grove Community Service Award.

Nominees, which can be individuals, businesses or organizations, should be long-term contributors to the community whose volunteer efforts have boosted the spirit of Buffalo Grove.

The award is named for the late Bill Reid, who was a longtime village trustee and a charter member of the Buffalo Grove Rotary Club. The recipient will receive a plaque, a $500 contribution to a charitable organization of his or her choice, and a $500 contribution in his or her name to The Rotary Foundation. The recipient's name will also be engraved on the permanent plaque at Village Hall.

To submit a nomination, fill out the attached form and include a summary of the nominee's activities, as well as any supporting letters, statements or documentation. Each nomination requires a primary and secondary nominator.
