Buffalo Grove Historical Society Names "Volunteer of the Year"
Rena Patel was given the honor for her work at the Raupp Museum.
The Buffalo Grove Historical Society recently honored Stevenson High School senior Rena Patel for her volunteer efforts, the Journal & Topics reports.
Patel has been a volunteer with the Raupp Museum for three years, and was given the organization’s “Volunteeer of the Year” award last month. One of her many accomplishments include creating a museum exhibit on women empowerment in education, the newspaper reports.
