New York Times best-selling author Meg Cabot to visit Stevenson High School

Mothers, daughters, teens and tweens will meet adored novelist Meg Cabot when the Vernon Area Public Library hosts the #1 New York Times best-selling author on Thursday, September 26, at 7 p.m. in the West Auditorium at Stevenson High School. Cabot will share highlights from the latest book in her Heather Wells Mystery series, “The Bride Wore Size 12.”

As demonstrated in her renowned series “The Princess Diaries,” upon which two Disney movies were based, Cabot’s novels feature female protagonists with a quick wit. “The Bride Wore Size 12” focuses on the shenanigans of a former pop idol turned detective, Heather Wells, as she faces a ghastly mystery as her wedding quickly approaches, while maintaining her dry sense of humor and hilarious pop culture references.

Funny and engaging, Meg Cabot has written dozens of hugely popular titles including: “Allie Finkle’s Rules for Girls” (tween), “The Princess Diaries” (teen), “Avalon High” (turned into an original Disney Channel movie), “Queen of Babble” (adult), and “Boy Meets Girl” (adult).
