Video and Photos: Buffalo Grove Days Parade

The 2012 parade lasted about 90 minutes. Patch brings you the condensed version in less than nine minutes.

High school marching bands, youth athletes, Cub Scouts, baton twirlers and local businesses were among more than 100 units in Sunday's Buffalo Grove Days parade, which also featured appearances from a number of elected officials and candidates running in the November race.

The parade also included a demonstration by the 's K9 team, which staged a crisis and showed how police dog Saxon protects his handler.

Candy was tossed by some paraders, while music was played from other floats. members pushed shopping carts, in which they collected food donations, while Shriners provided entertainment with assorted car and clown units.
