No Fourth of July Parade for Buffalo Grove: Officials Explain Why

There has never been a Fourth of July parade in Buffalo Grove, and village officials say that will likely not be changing, the Journal & Topics reports.
Fireworks are held on July 4, but there are no other festivities, parades or similar activities during the holiday. Village officials told the Journal & Topics that the village puts all of its effort into planning Buffalo Grove Days during Labor Day weekend, which is its only summer festival. The Buffalo Grove fireworks will be held at the Buffalo Grove Golf Course at 9:15 p.m.
