Stevenson High School's soccer team fought Lake Forest goal-to-goal Sept. 16, with the Patriots ultimately being defeated 3-2.
Stevenson game action included a first-half goal by Todd Kovin, with an assist by Johnny Watrach. Lake Forest's Michael Shipp retaliated, tying the game 1-1.
Second half action opened with a score by Lake Forest's Alex Wettermann. Minutes later, Stevenson's Ben Lund scored with a assist from Ryan Crane, tying the game at 2-2. A final goal by Lake Forest's Ian Forlow sealed the win for Lake Forest.
