Stevenson Beats Barrington in Football Quarterfinal

The game was stopped for a lightening delay after the first half.

After a lightening delay, Stevenson High School was declared the winner in its quarterfinal football game against Barrington High School Saturday night.

The final score was 14-0. No. 6 seed Stevenson (9-2) was the underdog against No. 2 seed Barrington (10-1). 

Willie Bourbon threw both touchdown passes in the first quarter, according to the Chicago Tribune. 

Steveson will play Loyola Academy, which had a decisive 35-0 victory against Maine South High School Saturday afternoon.
