Buffalo Grove Cross Country Runners Head to State
Runners from Buffalo Grove High School will compete for state honors this weekend.
Buffalo Grove High School students will represent the village in Illinois’ cross country state finals on Saturday in Peoria.
Sophomore Kaitlyn Ko was the only girl to qualify for the state competition.
She will be joined in Peoria by a boys team made up of seniors Daron Bedian, Steven Salvano and Ryan Schmidt; juniors Eli Hinkle, Montana Nimerfroh, Tripp Wallner and Jake Wenzel; sophomores Tom Cleary, Jack Lenard, Kevin Salvano and Evan Schmidt; and freshman Arturo Bautista.
