BGHS Basketball Players Support Teammate with Pink Laces

Buffalo Grove High School's freshman basketball team wore pink shoelaces on the court Friday to support a teammate whose mother passed away.

The Buffalo Grove High School freshman boys basketball team displayed support Friday for teammate Joseph Faraci, whose mother passed away this week after a battle with cancer.

The players wore pink to school Friday and used pink laces in their basketball shoes during Friday night's game. 

Visitation will be held for Arlington Heights resident Mary Faraci from 2-8 p.m. Feb. 17 at Glueckert Funeral Home. A funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Feb. 18 at St. Edna Catholic Church.
