Veterans Invited to SHS Baseball Game
Fans and service people are encouraged to honor the military with their apparel at this Saturday morning game.
's varsity baseball team and the student club Students Helping Soldiers are teaming up for Military Appreciation Day on Saturday for the Patriots’ 10 a.m. game against Lockport. The baseball program is raising money and donating it to Batter Up for the Brave, an organization that helps veterans and families of veterans who need financial assistance. All veterans are invited to attend the game and be acknowledged. Veterans are encouraged to wear something to represent their branch of service, and all fans are asked to wear red, white and blue or camouflage.
