Student Fees to Increase for District 214

Registration fees are going up in School District 214 through school year 2015-2016, the Daily Herald reports.

All students will pay $460 for registration next school year with a co-curricular fee of $65, and a parking fee of $190. For the following two school years, the registration fee will increase for new students by $30, the curricular fee will be upped by $15, and the parking fee will go up by $20. School District officials told the Daily Herald the increases are due to lack of state funding and increased operation costs.
