Stevenson Students Debut Meals at Tom and Eddie's

The public is invited to test the skills of business students who designed four new menu items for Tom and Eddie's. The four choices will be served Wednesday night only.

Stevenson High School students recently put their culinary skills to the test, and tonight (Wednesday) the public is invited to test the results.

The school's Introduction to Business classes are participating in the SHS Burger Challenge at Tom and Eddie’s in Vernon Hills from 5-9 p.m.

The restaurant will offer four meals designed by students during that time frame. The most-ordered one will earn a place on the Tom and Eddie's menu for a month.

The choices include a burger dubbed "Burger Blast" and three chicken sandwiches — Simply Chicken," "Cheesy Chicken Delight" and "Crispy Italian Deluxe." Read more about them here.

The selections are priced from $7.49 to $8.49. Ten percent of the proceeds will go to the March of Dimes. Students who show their school ID will receive a free drink.
