Stevenson High School Students Named Semi-Finalists in U.S. Physics Olympiad
Austin Hua and Licheng Zhu are among 400 students nationwide to be named semi-finalists.
Two Stevenson High School students are among 400 chosen across the country to be named semi-finalists in the 2013 U.S. Physics Olympiad.
Austin Hua and Licheng Zhu qualified for the semi-finals by scoring high enough on the F=ma exam last month. Another test will be given to the students in March, and the students with the highest score will be sent to a training camp in May. Only five students are chosen from the camp to be a part of the 2013 Physics Olympiad team.
