See 'the Best of BG' Tuesday Night

Buffalo Grove High School will showcase students' fine art talents.

will present the premiere of its newest creative arts event, "The Best of BG: An Evening of Fine Arts," at 7 p.m. Dec. 6 in the school's theater.

According to Fine & Performing Arts Co-Coordinator Elizabeth Bennett, the talent-saturated program "features wonderful students" and showcases a wide spectrum of Fine Arts performers, all in one venue. The students, considered as some of the school's most talented, were nominated by the fine arts staff to showcase their individual strengths. There will be dancers, instrumentalists, vocalists, debaters and actors, visual artists, soloists and small acts that comprise the two acts of the show.

Admission is $4 for adults and $3 for students. The fee will benefit activities and service project endeavors of the BGHS Student Council, a co-sponsor of the event. Bake sale items will be available during a short intermission, and again after the show.
