Pay for Grades? Stevenson Says No Way

Stevenson High School wants to clear up confusion that may have been caused by a hoax this summer.

If you heard that Stevenson High School is accepting donations in exchange for extra credit and other academic perks, save your money.

“There is a fake Stevenson letter being circulated via social media, claiming students can pay donations for excusing tardies and homework, receiving extra credit, and test exemptions. This is a hoax, and IS NOT a Stevenson letter, program, or from a Stevenson employee,” the high school announced July 10 on its Facebook page

“This is not something the District would ever endorse,” the school stated.
