Using LinkedIn, Google, and Twitter for Job Search

The vast majority of jobs are found digitally via social media today. Michael Yublosky teaches about free Social Media tools to enhance and expand your job search. This is a hands on class so computer skills are required as is familiarity with the Internet. He will discuss and demonstrate optimizing LinkedIn profiles, set up a totally free WordPress.com resume or portfolio Web site and searching Twitter for job postings. Guides and reference materials will be on line. Learning to better use these techniques will aid you in seeking a new or better job in these competitive economic times.

You should have already set up a LinkedIn profile before attending this class. You will need a resume or portfolio to publish to your site and a recent photo is encouraged in digital format on a flash drive. Using video marketing is also discussed.

Classes repeat so no need to register twice.  Registration required but if class is full you may be able to attend if you have your own laptop to bring.
