OneBody International, a leading Rockford-based wellness organization dedicated to making a difference in the lives of individuals through education, will host a free seminar on Saturday, June 18, 2011 from 9:30 a.m. CT to Noon at the University of Illinois College of Medicine Campus at 1601 Parkview Ave. in Rockford, for individuals interested in taking control of their health and financial future.

“As the nation makes its way out of one of the most tumultuous economic times we have ever experienced, OneBody is focused on making people take a realistic look at what is taking place around them to identify what it is they need to do to succeed,” said Jordan Kemper, co-founder of OneBody International with his business partner Dr. Steve Hryszczuk. “It is our goal through this seminar to make a difference in the lives of others and share with people the knowledge and motivation they need to take action to move their lives forward in a positive direction.”

The event will kick off with Dr. Tom Carter, a cardiothoracic heart surgeon with more than 25 year’s experience, as he speaks on the topic of preventative healthcare and the importance of proper nutrient supplementation. Areas of focus include identification of the most important nutrients needed to stay healthy, benefits of proper nutrition, background on vitamins and minerals and why preventive healthcare is vital at any age.

Eli Wilhide, a senior performance strategist for the world-renowned motivational speaker Anthony Robbins, will take stage following Dr. Carter to host, “Turning Knowledge into Action,” a workshop designed to improve the mindset, focus and productivity of individuals. The interactive one-hour session will share strategies to enhance both personal and professional lives including how to activate the driving forces that moves actions to results, move through limitations towards resourcefulness, cultivate a state of mental strength to overcome barriers and inspire strong leadership while embracing the power of focus to improve productivity.

“Life does not have a rewind button so we must seek to get it right the first time,” added Kemper. “We promise, this is an event you will not want to miss.”
