Getting Help with Medicare Decisions and Costs

Health insurance in Illinois has many public options including Medicare, Medicaid, and Illinois Cares RX. However, actually using the programs can be complicated and confusing. Lou Barnett, of Senior Health Insurance Program (SHIP) counselors from Wheeling Township Senior Services, will provide information about your Medicare options as well as various state and federal programs that may provide you with assistance in paying for your insurance costs.  Trained by the Illinois Division of Insurance, SHIP counselors are not affiliated with any insurance company.  Bring your questions.
