Electronics Recycling Drive
Students involved in S.A.V.E., Students Against Violations of the Environment, will be hosting an electronics recycling drive at Stevenson High School on Friday, Sept. 28.
The drive is part of the inaugural Green Apple Day of Service, a nationwide event that encourages students to devise a school service project, and work with community volunteers to create positive environmental change. More information on the Day of Service can be found at the Green Apple website, mygreenapple.org.
Electronics can be dropped off from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the Point (lot B), Field House (lot D), or Sports Center (lot E) entrances. Phones will be donated to Cell Phones for Soldiers, a non–profit organization dedicated to providing cost–free communication services to active duty military members and veterans.
