Active Parenting of Teens - Spring Session

The spring session of the video discussion program, Active Parenting of Teens, will help parents discuss family issues with their teens. Parents are encouraged to talk to teens about drugs, sexuality, violence and family issues. This program has helped more than 3,000 parents during the past 10 years. Parents learn discipline skills that guide and protect their adolescents.

Co-leaders for the classes are Martha Messer, the nurse at John Hersey High School, and Bob Leece, Buffalo Grove High School Student Assistance Program Coordinator.

There is a registration fee of $20.00 per family. A parent guidebook will be given to each family to reinforce and expand the skills taught in the course.
