Updated: Snowstorm Cancels School, Park District, Library Activities

Stevenson High School

All after-school activities at today (Jan. 20) have been canceled, including athletic events.

District 96

Due to weather conditions, middle school buses will leave the schools 15 minutes early today. This will allow the bus drivers extra time to complete their middle school routes and return to elementary buildings to help ensure that elementary and kindergarten routes will begin at their regular time.

For safety and supervision reasons, elementary and kindergarten students’ buses will depart at the regular time.

All after-school activities have been canceled, including the middle school ski trip to Wilmot Mountain due to hazardous road conditions both locally and near Wilmot. Details about rescheduling this trip will be provided on the school website when determined.

District 21

District 21-sponsored after-school activities have been canceled today, according to the district's website. After-school care programs remain open.

District 102

After-school activities have been canceled at and , according to the district's website. Club Meridian has also been canceled for the day.

Other Closings

Some Buffalo Grove Park District programs have been canceled. Details are posted on the district's website.
