District 21 Presents State of the Schools Programs

Community members are invited to attend one of these three programs. The first one will take place Sept. 27.

School District 21 will kick off its three annual State of the Schools events for parents and community members tonight (Sept. 27) at London Middle School.

Programs will also be held Oct. 4 at Holmes Middle School and Oct. 10 at Cooper Middle School.

Each event will begin at 6:30 p.m. and will feature student performances, remarks from Superintendent Kate Hyland, a State of the Schools video and a presentation on bullying prevention by University of Illinois Professor Dorothy Espelage.

The events are open to all parents and community members, and babysitting will be provided for elementary school-age children.
