As part of the Read to Achieve program, Bulls executive vice president of basketball operations John Paxson and general manager Gar Forman hosted a reading timeout at on March 24.
Paxson and Forman were joined by Bill Wennington, Chuck Swirsky, Bob Love, Sidney Green, members of Team Mates, Benny the Bull and other Bulls front office staff. During an assembly, Forman addressed students, complimenting them on their character and commitment to learn. Bulls Read to Achieve representatives read with students, participated in podcasts and answered questions.
The Bulls, Rush University Medical Center and ComEd are partners of the Read to Achieve program visiting Chicagoland children, distributing new books and organizing literacy activities.
