Chicago Bear Visits St. Mary Football Team

Former Bear Marcus Robinson talked to young athletes about his career and encouraged them to never give up.

Incoming fifth- and sixth-graders on 's junior varsity football team met with former Chicago Bear Marcus Robinson during their spring training event, where they ran, learned football skills and met their 2011 coaches and teammates.

Robinson, who played wide receiver for the Bears from 1998-2002 before moving onto the Baltimore Ravens and Minnesota Vikings, retired as a Chicago Bear 2008.

"Don't give up," was his message to St. Mary's players, who received autographs and the opportunity to take pictures with the professional athlete.
