11 Stevenson Students Earn Perfect ACT Score During Same Exam

Less than one-tenth of 1 percent of students earn a perfect score on the ACT.

A perfect ACT score is hard to come by, but how about 11 perfect scores earned during the same test? 

Stevenson Daily Digest reports 11 Stevenson High School students earned a score of 36 during an exam given at the school on April 13. Students who achieved the high mark include: Gabriel Antoniak, Sanika Bhargaww, Ruibo Cao, Xinhe Chen, Austin Hua, Nam-Joong Hwang, Daniel Kofman, Jee Ho Lee, Christopher Yao, Matthew Zhang and Licheng Zhu.  

The ACT is a standardized test measuring a student’s knowledge in English, mathematics, reading, science and writing. The average ACT composite score in 2011 was 21.1, according to act.org. Less than one-tenth of 1 percent of students earn a perfect score of 36.
