Want to Run for Buffalo Grove Park District Commissioner?

Voters will elect three members to the Park Board in the spring. Candidates must file by Dec. 26.

Residents will elect three commissioners to the Buffalo Grove Park District board of directors this spring.

Two four-year positions and one unexpired two-year term will be on the April 9 election ballot.

Anyone interested in running for a commissioner position can pick up petitions at the Alcott Center from 8:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Mondays or from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesdays through Fridays.

Candidates must be registered voters and have been residents of the Buffalo Grove Park District for at least one year prior to the election.

Petition filings will be accepted on weekdays from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. beginning Dec. 17 at the Alcott Center. Park district offices will be closed on Dec. 24 and 25. The last day to file petitions will be Dec. 26.
