New Illinois District Map Released
A joint House and Senate redistricting meeting will be held Tuesday.
Areas represented by state senators Jeff Schoenberg (D-Evanston), Susan Garrett (D-Lake Forest) or Terry Link (D-Waukegan) will remain mostly intact, according to a new state legislative district map released by Democrats Thursday.
A hearing for the map will be held in Chicago at 12 p.m. on Saturday, according to the Senate Districting Committee's website. Meanwhile a joint session between the House and Senate will be held in Springfield on Tuesday.
