Maltas Assumes Deputy Village Manager Position

Buffalo Grove’s new deputy village manager was welcomed Monday with a public reception at Village Hall.

The event, which was attended by village officials and a number of active community volunteers, was held just before the Village Board meeting.

Monday was also the first day on the job for Jennifer Maltas, who attended the board meeting in her official capacity.

“She went through a very difficult process in being chosen as our deputy village manager,” said Village President Jeff Braiman.

Maltas replaces Ghida Neukirch, who stepped down last summer.
