Have Questions about the Electricity Referendum?

Citizens are invited to attend an informational meeting Wednesday afternoon in Buffalo Grove.

Community members will have a second opportunity to learn about the March 20 on Wednesday, when a public meeting will be held at 2 p.m. at Buffalo Grove's .

Voters in Buffalo Grove, Palatine, Arlington Heights, Long Grove, Lincolnshire, Vernon Hills and Wheeling will be asked on the primary election ballot whether residents of those towns should have an alternative to ComEd. Their responses will determine whether each community seeks competitive pricing bids for electrical services.

About 45 citizens attended the first informational meeting, held last week in Arlington Heights, Ghida Neukirch, Buffalo Grove's deputy village manager said.

A final meeting will take place at at the Vernon Hills Village Hall, 290 Evergreen Drive.
