Happy Birthday, Buffalo Grove!
Residents are invited to a reception marking the village's 55th year.
Buffalo Grove residents are invited to celebrate the village’s 55th birthday next month, when officials will host a celebratory open house.
The event, which will take place from 6:30-7:30 p.m. March 4 at Village Hall, will give residents the opportunity to meet the public officials and village employees that serve the community.
“We invite you to come and celebrate the village’s 55th birthday to see how far we have come in the last 55 years, to become the community that we are,” Village Clerk Janet Sirabian said.

The Village Board will meet immediately following the open house.
Sirabian noted that the date of the open house is incorrect in the latest issue of the Village News.
