Metra will not be operating trains on its north central service until further notice due to a CN derailment, according to a message posted on Metra's website at 5:12 a.m. Tuesday.
The north central service has stops in Grayslake, Libertyville, Buffalo Grove, Mundelein, Wheeling, Antioch and Rosemont, according to Metra's website.
The Milwaukee District North rail line service is currently operating on a normal schedule.
