Buffalo Grove One of the Best Small Towns

Buffalo Grove's economic stability, nearby employment options and open space earned it a spot on Money Magazine's 2013 list of top small towns, the Daily Herald reports.
It was the only Illinois community to make on the list of the top 50 in the United States. Overall, it ranked 46th on the list.
Village officials weren't surprised Buffalo Grove was on the list, but felt it should have been higher.
The magazine states that the only drawback of the community is that it doesn't have a traditional downtown. What it does have instead, though, the magazine said is plenty of usable open space.
