Buffalo Grove unveiled its new mobile app Monday night. The app is a joint effort among nine governmental units, including the village, Buffalo Grove area school districts, Vernon Township, the Buffalo Grove Park District and the Indian Trails and Vernon Area public libraries.
The village heralded the app's arrival with a cake decorated in its likeness.
