Woman Charged with Stealing Golf Cart from Buffalo Grove Days

ALCOHOL
Michael J. Vivacqua, 21, of the 2300 block of Carriageway, Arlington Heights, was charged with driving under the influence, driving with a blood-alcohol content above the legal limit and improper lane use at 3:49 a.m. Aug. 31 on Dundee Road at Buffalo Grove Road.
Randy I. Manual, 30, of the 1100 block of Forums, Wheeling, was charged with driving under the influence, speeding, improper signal and driving without a valid license at 2:02 a.m. Sept. 1 on Dundee Road at Weidner Road.

BURGLARY
Someone stole a car radio from an unlocked vehicle between Aug. 31 and Sept. 1 on the 200 block of Old Oak Drive.
DISPUTE

A complainant on the 200 block of Dundee Road reported a verbal dispute with a customer over lottery tickets at 6:20 p.m. Aug. 30. Officers spoke with both people, who were calm and advised that the situation was settled.
FOUND ITEMS
A complainant reported finding a brown wallet on the Buffalo Grove Days festival grounds at 1:05 a.m. Sept. 1. The wallet, which did not contain identification, was held for safekeeping.
PROPERTY DAMAGE
A resident of the 2200 block of Avalon reported their mailbox’s vertical wooden post was split between Aug. 31 and Sept. 1.
SUSPICIOUS INCIDENT
A resident of the 200 block of Woodstone reported someone rang their front door bell twice at 11:03 p.m. Aug. 30. Officers arrived and checked the area but found nothing unusual.
THEFT
A gas station attendant on the 1-100 block of Lake-Cook Road reported the theft of gas at 7:20 a.m. Aug. 29. Officers contacted the driver, who stated they forgot to pay for the fuel. The driver returned to the gas station and made the payment.
A resident of the 600 block of Woodhollow reported an iPhone 4 was stolen from their home between 11:30 and noon July 29. The complainant provided a list of the painters that were in the home.
A resident of the 2100 block of Apple Hill reported the theft of his son’s red Mongoose bicycle Aug. 30 from the front porch.
Officers said they observed a woman steal a golf cart from the Buffalo Grove Days grounds at 11:50 p.m. Sept. 1 near Lake-Cook Road and Raupp Boulevard. They located Tricia M. Vasis, 42, of the 6000 block of Lucerne, Lake in the Hills, who was charged with theft at 12:05 a.m. Sept. 2.
