Stevenson Administrator's Text Messages Draw Police Attention

No charges have been filed in alleged texting incident.

Lincolnshire police are investigating reports that a administrator sent inappropriate text messages, a police officer confirmed Wednesday afternoon.

“It’s currently being reviewed by the Lake County State’s Attorney’s office,” said Stevenson High School’s resource officer, Kim Covelli. “They are reviewing the case and letting us know how we should proceed.”

No charges had been filed against the employee as of Wednesday afternoon, Covelli said. She said she could not say whether a student was involved or share other details about the incident during the investigation.
