Police Respond to Noise, Driving Complaints

Michael D. Weiss, 50, of the 2000 block of Whispering Oaks Drive, Buffalo Grove, was charged with domestic battery at 11:56 p.m. Dec. 27.


A complainant reported that a vehicle was driving erratically, and believed it made contact with his vehicle at 5:29 p.m. Dec. 23 at Arlington Heights Road and Alden Road. The driver and passenger in the other vehicle were contacted, and there was no evidence on their vehicle indicating that contact was made between the two vehicles. 

A resident of the 300 block of Satinwood Court North reported that his upstairs neighbor was making too much noise at 2:38 a.m. Dec. 25. Everything was quiet upon the officer’s arrival.  

Officers responded to two noise complaints, one for music too loud, and another for children and adults being too loud, at 11:28 p.m. Dec. 27 and at 2:43 a.m. Dec. 28 on the 0-100 block of Villa Verde Drive. Officers addressed the separate noise issues on each occasion. 


Graffiti was located on the side of a building at 7:29 a.m. Dec. 28 on the 0-100 block of Dundee Road. The management company was notified.


A resident reported that there was an unknown person in his residence on Dec. 23. Upon further investigation, it was determined that the person had received permission from the resident’s spouse to be there.
