Police Respond to Family Fight

ALCOHOL

Enrique J. Gama-Giron, 38, of the 200 block of London, Wheeling, was charged with driving under the influence, illegal lane use, driving without insurance, possession of cannabis and failure to yield to an emergency vehicle at 12:54 p.m. Sept. 7 on Dundee Road near Crofton Lane.

Jessica L. Bold, 26, of the 700 block of Garfield, Lake Bluff, was charged with driving under the influence, driving with a blood-alcohol content above the legal limit and speeding at 1:14 a.m. Sept. 7 on Lake-Cook Road east of Hastings.

DISTURBANCE

Police received a call regarding a disturbance involving several people Sept. 7 on the 1300 block of Dundee Road. Officers arrived and determined there was an argument between family members. They did not wish to pursue the matter and were all allowed to leave. 

PROPERTY DAMAGE

Two mailboxes were removed from their vertical wooden posts between Sept. 6-7 on the 400 block of Estate Drive.

Someone damaged the passenger side rear view mirror of a vehicle while it was parked in a lot between 9-10:20 a.m. Sept. 8 on the 600 block of Deerfield Parkway.

THEFT 

A driver reportedly obtained $65 worth of gas and left without paying at 7:10 a.m. Sept. 5 at a station on the 1200 block of Arlington Heights Road.

A resident reported he was a victim of a financial scam involving a family member between December 2012 and September of this year.

A woman reported the theft of several items from her purse between 3-11 p.m. Sept. 5 on the 300 block of Hastings.
