Police Investigation Could Be Tied to Missing Lake Villa Man
A police investigation in the 900 block of Westmoreland in Vernon Hills could be tied to the disappearance of Lake Villa resident Nick Steward.

Police are conducting an investigation at an apartment complex on the 900 block of Westmoreland in Vernon Hills.
The Lake & McHenry County Facebook page is reporting that Vernon Hills police have located the white 2008 Saturn Aura belonging to Nick Steward of Lake Villa.
Police from Vernon Hills and Buffalo Grove are at the scene, along with a ladder truck from the Countryside Fire Protection District. The Lake County Major Crime Task Force arrived at 7:25 p.m.
Jamey Poulos of Libertyville, whose son attended school with Steward, saw the news on Facebook and decided to head out to the scene.
Poulos has been distributing fliers to share information about Steward, who has been missing since Sept. 20.
"I'm praying that he is fine," said Poulos. "I just want him to be well, for his wife, his son, his mother and father."
