Police Blotter: Vehicles Spray Painted, Egged

ANIMALS

A resident of the 200 block of East Fabish Drive reported a dog was barking in a neighbors’ unit at 5:45 a.m. March 20. Officers were unable to contact the owner at the time of the call.

FOUND PROPERTY

A citizen turned in a wallet that was found in a parking lot at 12:30 p.m. March 29 on the 1200 block of West Dundee Road. Officers will contact the owner. 

NOISE COMPLAINT

Police responded to a complaint of construction work being performed after 7 p.m. March 30 on the 2400 block of Waterbury Lane. The employee was advised to discontinue due to the time. 

PROPERTY DAMAGE

A resident of the 1000 block of Hidden Lake Drive reported someone spray painted their vehicle and overhead garage door between 9:15 -9:40 a.m. March 29.

A resident of the 1200 blocko Sandhurst Drive reported someone spray painted the rear windshield and trunk lid of their vehicle between March 28-29.

SUSPICIOUS PERSON/VEHICLE

A resident of the 1100 block of Bernard Drive reported an occupied vehicle in front of their house at 11 a.m. March 29. Officers responded but the driver left prior to their arrival. 

A citizen reported a gold Nissan with three occupants was parked at 3:21 p.m. March 30 on the side of the road at Sheridan and Edgemere roads. The vehicle left before officers arrived. 

THEFT

A resident reported receiving a call March 29 from Chase Bank stating they declined a charge attempt from non-local store. The resident stated they had no idea who could have accessed their credit card number. 

A resident reported that unauthorized charges were made to their credit card between March 27-29.

VANDALISM

A resident of the 100 block of Morningside Lane reported someone threw eggs on her vehicle and garage door at 7 p.m. March 28.
