Police Blotter: Suspicious Stare, Calls from Friends

ANIMALS

A citizen reported a dog was continuously barking from 11:15 p.m. Feb. 14 to 12:15 a.m. Feb. 15 in the yard of a residence on the 400 block of Gregg Lane. Officers located the dog and its owner, who let the dog in.  

SUSPICIOUS INCIDENT

A citizen reported that while walking with her daughter at 4:20 p.m. Feb. 13 on the 100 block of East Fabish Drive, a work van stopped in the street and the driver got out and stared at her. The subject didn’t say anything and she walked away very quickly. Officers were unable to locate the van in the area.

SUSPICIOUS PHONE CALL

A resident reported Feb. 13 that she has been receiving calls from an unknown caller since October. She stated the call is silent then disconnects. Officers checked her phone and it was learned that the caller was actually a friend from Florida. Officers spoke to the friends who said they have been trying to call their friend but they have experienced phone problems. 

SUSPICOUS VEHICLE

A resident reported at 1 p.m. Feb. 14 a vehicle parked on the 500 block of Parkview that they believed didn’t belong in the neighborhood. Officers responded, checked out the car and will speak with the owner.
