Police Blotter: Suspicious Footprints Left in Snow

ARREST
Emmanuell Castrejon, 23, of the 150 block of Glendale Road, Buffalo Grove, was arrested on a warrant for retail theft at 2:28 p.m. Feb. 28.
COMPLAINT
A complainant on the 1-100 block of South Buffalo Grove Road reported that she believed a solicitor who did not have a permit was in the area around 3:30 p.m. Feb. 28. Officers located the solicitor and verified that he did not have a valid permit. His supervisor responded and was given instructions on how to obtain one.

SUSPICIOUS INCIDENT
A resident of the 500 block of Beechwood Road reported footprints in the snow near his vehicle on the driveway were made between 9 p.m. Feb. 27 and 8:10 a.m. Feb. 28. There was no reported damage to either vehicle on the driveway, and no entry had been gained.
