Police Blotter: Stolen Parking Spot, DUI

ALCOHOL
Justin T. Klein, 22, of the 100 block of Tomahawk Lane, Tower Lakes, was charged with driving under the influence, driving with a blood-alcohol content above .08 and disobeying a traffic control device at 1:43 a.m. Feb. 28 at Dundee and Arlington Heights roads.
COMPLAINT
A resident of the 700 block of Weidner Road report someone had parked their vehicle in the resident’s assigned parking spot at 7:51 a.m. Feb. 27. Officers explained that parking issues within the complex are an association issue. Officers did speak with the other person, who was in the lot, and the person stated they would no longer park there.

A citizen reported seeing a person standing next to a vehicle at 6:44 p.m. Feb. 27 in a parking lot on the 800 block of Weidner Road. The person appeared to be trying to pry the door open. The citizen called out to the person, who then walked away. Officers checked the area but did not locate the person. No damage was found on the vehicle.
