Police Blotter: Scammer Poses as Charity Representative

SUSPICIOUS INCIDENT
A representative of a Buffalo Grove-based charity reported that someone solicited payments in their agency's name between Dec. 31 and Jan. 11. The representative reported receiving calls from people who claimed they made donations to the charity. The representative stated they did not receive any recent donations and have not solicited for funds. The representative requested that police document the scam.
