Police Blotter: Runaway Fails to Return Home, Man Loses Wallet at Jewel

DISPUTE

A company official on the 1000 block of Corporate Grove Drive reported a man was banging on their door, insisting on being allowed in at 7:50 a.m. May 8. The official stated that the company did not want to do business with the visitor. An officer called the visitor and he understood that he was not to return to the company.

LOST ITEM

A resident stated that while at at 8:30 p.m. May 8, he lost his black wallet, which contained his driver’s license, checkbook, two credit cards and a medical insurance card.

PHONE HARASSMENT

A resident reported May 8 receiving continued phone calls from her ex-boyfriend and he has not stopped calling when asked. An officer spoke with the ex, who stated that he would stop calling and go through his attorney for any further communication with the resident.

RUNAWAY

A father reported May 8 that his 15-year-old daughter had been away from home since May 4. The girl has run away from home before but always has returned on her own. The father was not sure where the girl might be. A friend denied knowing where the girl was. She was entered into the police state database.

THEFT

A bank employee reported that he balanced his cash drawer on May 4 and when he returned to work on May 7, he found the drawer to be $100 short and some of the paperwork missing. The employee has reported this to his manager and the human resources department, and he is not being held accountable. The employee was advised to work with the corporate loss-prevention department.
