Police Blotter: Resident Watered by Upstairs Neighbor

COMPLAINTS
A resident of Oak Creek Drive stated that her upstairs neighbor poured water from her balcony at 2:55 p.m. July 25. The water splashed onto the resident, who then fell and injured her ankle. The neighbor denied the incident.
A resident of the 1000 block of Providence Lane reported a rude solicitor who was selling magazines at 6:50 p.m. July 25. An officer located the solicitor, who did not have a permit, and he was told to leave.
A resident of the 800 block of Port Clinton Court West reported solicitors in the area selling magazines at 8:50 p.m. July 25. An officer located the two solicitors, who did not have a permit, and they were told to leave.

A resident reported receiving a phone call July 26 from her ex-boyfriend who stated that he would do bodily harm to the resident and her mother. The resident did not want the ex-boyfriend arrested, but wanted him to be told to leave the resident alone, which was done.
TRESPASSING

Harmeet Singh, 18, of the 1400 block of North Winslowe Drive, Palatine, was charged with criminal trespass to property at 10:40 a.m. July 25 after a property official on the 100 block of South Buffalo Grove Road reported that a person was on the property after he had previously been warned to stay away.
WELL-BEING CHECK
A son told police July 24 he received a text message from his mother that he understood as she wanted to harm herself. An officer spoke with mom and she stated that she had no intention of harming herself.
OTHER INCIDENTS
Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents requested assistance with the arrest of two residents on a deportation warrant at 6:45 a.m. July 25. No one was at home.
