Police Blotter: Officer Calls Deuce in Tennis Court Dispute

DISPUTES

A resident reported having an argument with her mother at 3:37 p.m. May 16. Officers stood by as the resident gathered some items to stay elsewhere for the night. 

A resident reported having an argument with another person at 5:30 p.m. May 16 over the use of the tennis courts at Blue Ash Drive and Dunstan Lane. Officers suggested they share the court.

A citizen found a wallet at 1 p.m. May 15 in a gas station parking lot. Officers contacted the owner who will pick it up. 

PHONE HARASSMENT

A resident reported receiving text messages from an unknown person the evening of May 14. Officers will contact the sender. 

A resident reported receiving several text messages from an unknown sender between May 1-15. Officers contacted the sender and advised them to stop. 

SUSPICIOUS INCIDENT/VEHICLE

A resident of the 700 block of Dunhill reported a slow-driving vehicle in her neighborhood at 8:20 a.m. May 16. Officers checked the area but did not located the vehicle. 

Police responded to a report that a male citizen placed a backpack on the ground in a parking lot on the 100 block of North McHenry Road and then left at 12:45 p.m. May 16. Officers located the vehicle, driver and backpack and determined that the backpack was left in error after it was placed on the ground while the owner retrieved other items.

A resident of the 600 block of Carriage Way reported a slow driving black Escalade in the neighborhood at 1:53 a.m. May 14. An officer contacted the driver, who was in a transportation vehicle waiting on pickup.
