Police Blotter: Marijuana Charges, Shopper Dispute

DISPUTE

The manager of a store on the 1200 block of West Dundee Road reported that a customer became agitated and was yelling at an employee at 7:10 p.m. Feb. 10. During the confrontation, the customer grabbed merchandise out of the employee’s hand, causing a small injury. The customer was gone when officers arrived and the manager wanted to consult with company management prior to any further action.

DRUGS

A 15-year-old Buffalo Grove resident was charged with possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia at 9:45 p.m. Feb. 10 on the 200 block of Appletree Court after a complainant reported two subjects by an SUV, playing music loudly. An officer located the vehicle and subjects and immediately detected an odor of burnt marijuana. The officer also saw a baggie containing a green leafy substance and an object resembling a marijuana smoking pipe.
