Police Blotter: Lost Phone, Damaged Decorations

IMPROPER SECURITY

A citizen reported at 2:50 p.m. Jan. 8 that the side garage door was open to a residence on the 100 block of Bernard Drive. Officers checked out the garage and found it unoccupied. The door latch was not working properly. The responsible party was notified.

LOST PROPERTY

A citizen reported she lost her phone between 5-10 p.m. Jan. 7 on the 100 block of McHenry Road. Officers assisted with a search of the area but could not locate the phone.

PROPERTY DAMAGE

A resident of the 300 block of Hiawatha reported that she saw two boys damaging holiday decorations in her neighbor’s yard at 8:35 p.m. Jan. 8. Officers spoke with the homeowner.
