Police Blotter: Laundry Room Burglarized, House Egged

ALCOHOL
A citizen reported an intoxicated person walking in the roadway at 4:50 a.m. July 6 on the 1500 block of Johnson Drive. Officers responded and gave the person a ride to his residence.
Jonathan D. Brough, 27, of the 900 block of Valley Stream Drive, Wheeling, was charged with aggravated driving under the influence, driving on a suspended license, resisting a peace officer and improper lane usage at 1:36 a.m. July 7 on Dundee Road at Crofton Lane.

BURGLARY
Someone entered a laundry room on the 600 block of Trace Drive and damaged a washing machine while attempting to gain entry to the coin collection box between July 5-8.

A resident of the 1000 block of Asbury Lane reported his car keys were stolen from inside his unlocked vehicle between 8:15 a.m. and 4:54 p.m. July 5.
COMPLAINT
A resident reported she purchased a vehicle through eBay on June 27, and when it arrived July 5, its condition was much different than described. An eBay representative suggested that she file a police report.
DRUGS
Gustavo Rossano, 32, of the 600 block of Green Street, Wheeling, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, driving on a revoked license and driving without a muffler at 11:21 p.m. July 7 at Milwaukee Avenue and Deerfield Road.
LOST PROPERTY
A resident of the 800 block of Trace Drive reported he lost his cell phone and keys at 5:30 a.m. July 6.
PHONE HARASSMENT
A resident reported receiving a harassing text message from an old boyfriend on July 8. The complainant requested documentation only at this time.
A resident reported receiving harassing text messages from another person over a disagreement between July 7-8.
PROPERTY DAMAGE
A complainant reported her vehicle was damaged while it was parked July 3 in a lot on the 1500 block of Busch Parkway.
VANDALISM
Someone threw eggs at the side of a home at 12:30 a.m. July 5 on the 300 block of Foxford.
