Police Blotter: DUIs, Obstruction of Justice

ALCOHOL

Isabel Lopez, 24, of the 3400 block of North Ruby Street, Franklin Park, was charged with driving under the influence and illegal lane usage at 3:52 a.m. Feb. 9 on Lake-Cook Road west of Weidner.

Erik H. Nodell, 26, of the 500 block of Cobblestone Lane, Buffalo Grove, was charged with driving under the influence, criminal damage to property and operating an uninsured vehicle at 3:52 a.m. Feb. 10 at Fox Hill Drive and Cobblestone Lane.

BURGLARY

A citizen reported someone removed a gym bag from his vehicle between Feb. 6-11 on the 700 block of Bernard Drive. There were no signs of forced entry.

OBSTRUCTING JUSTICE

Howard M. Nodell, 58, of the 500 block of Cobblestone Lane, Buffalo Grove, was charged with obstructing justice at 4:15 a.m. Feb. 10 at Fox Hill Drive and Cobblestone Lane.

Officers located an unoccupied vehicle that was obstructing the roadway at 1:21 p.m. Feb. 11 on Aptakisic Road west of Buffalo Grove Road. The vehicle was removed by a towing agency and relocated. 

Wheeling police asked Buffafo Grove officers on Feb. 11 to contact a resident regarding a traffic accident that occurred in Wheeling. Contact was made with the resident, who then contacted the Wheeling Police Department.
